How to Calculate Gross and Net Pension and Commute for Civil Servant

To calculate Gross and Net Pension you need to need your  Basic Pay and Total Service 

Formula 

Gross Pension =  (Basic Pay x Service in years x 7 ) / 300

Example

Gross Pension = (57950 x 30 x 7) /300

Gross Pension = 40565 Rupees 

We have taken 57950 as Gross Pay  and 30 years service for example to calculate Gross Pension.

Normally 65% given as gross pension and 35% is given as Net Pension per month.

Net Pension = 65% x (40565) Gross Pension

Net Pension = 26367 Rupees per Month

Not:- Maximum 30 year service is added into formula to calculate pension and commute
